Mona Relief organization worked in education sector in cooperation with the education cluster.
We are providing IDPs, Refugees, most vulnerable communities, and Children with Disabilities
with school items yearly.

During the last four years Mona Relief provided 2560 students in public schools in Amanat alAsimah, Sana’a and Hodeidah governorates with supplies learning materials (stationery, school
bags) during 2019-2022 .

This Year Mona Relief targeted more than 1200 students and submitted them school items.

Mona Relief started in September 2022 establishing a permanent primary school in Sana’a governorate Hamdan district Al-Erah sub – district. The school building project aims to
strengthen education system and ease access to better education service for 1200 students within the area. The school contains 6 classes with accessories in the first phase which will include supplying and installing furniture to the school. The project put on the consideration gender-sensitive and disability-sensitive WASH facilities and school furniture. The total budget
for the project is $146,928.

In the activity to support children with school transportation, MR Provided during 2021-2022, at least 50 orphaned girl students in Amanat al-Asimah, girl students are being supported monthly
for 8 months during 2021 and 4 months during 2022 with transportation to/from school to encourage them to continue studying and the project will continue for the next term.

Furthermore, Mona Relief provided 180000 students/teachers and school administration with
school feeding program by providing daily breakfast to 3000 students in 21 schools in
Amanat al-Asimah along with supporting teachers during 2021.
