51,000L per day of clean water provided by Mona Relief to 3600 people at Khamir and Houth IDPs hosting sites in Amran

Mona Relief started providing clean water to two IDPs sites in Amran governorate after receiving an appeal from WASH Cluster Yemen to provide 51,000 liters of clean water per day for 3-4 weeks to IDPs at Khamir and Houth sites due to the needs for water in the two sites.

Mona Relief responded to the call and committed to provide the two sites with clean water for 3 weeks. And we started on June 10, 2021 providing 10,000 liters of clean water per day for IDPs at al-Baydha of Houth site. Mona Relief also started on June 14, 2021 providing 41,000 liters of clean water per day for IDPs at Dahadh of Khamer site.

The total of clean water are being provided to the two sites 51,000 liters per day.

The total of clean water that will be delivered during 21 days is 1,071,000 liters.

The project was carried out in cooperation with WASH Cluster and funded by Mona Relief’s fundraising campaign in Patreon.

The number of beneficiaries in the two sites are 426 households and almost with (3600 individuals).
