Mona Relief launches Ramdan month program by providing cash assistance to 50 widows in Hodeidah

Mona Relief launched on March 28, 2022 Ramdan month program by distributing cash assistance to 50 widows in al-Durehimi area in Hodeidah governorate in Western Yemen.

This project to widows aims to target 200 widows approximately 1400 individuals in Sana’a and Hodeidah with cash assistance during Ramdan month.

In food security sector, Mona Relief coordinating now close with local authorities to distribute 3000 food aid baskets in Amanat al-Asimah, Sana’a and Hodeidah governorates. Our project will target more than 21000 people.

In the wash sector, Mona Relief will continue supplying 11 water tank points in Amanat al-Asimah and Sana’a governorate with 55000 liters of clean water per day. Also we are going to distribute hygiene kits and NFIs to 450 Households in 3 IDP hosting sites in Hamdan district of Sana’a governorate.

In nutrition sector, Mona Relief is coordinating now with local authorities to allow us targeting 21 malnourished children in the fifth round and we are going to target 50 others during Ramdan.

Also on April 1st Mona Relief will start providing 40000 liters of clean water weekly to families in al-Kalbin area of Kharif district in Anran district.

Mona Relief is planning to target 2000 orphans with Eid al-Fitr clothing and this project will start on Ramdan 20 but we still waiting for more donations to cover this project.
